Welcome!
Hi! My name is Amechi,. If you're here, you likely met me at the Gordon Ryan & John Danaher seminar, or a fellow attendee recommended this page. Here's what I'm looking to create:
Goal of This Webpage:
To find training partners interested in New Wave style no-gi techniques and systems. If you’re eager to dive deep into learning and refining these techniques with like-minded partners, you’re in the right place!
Think of this like an informal “Jiu-Jitsu Study Group.”

Please Let This Be Clear:
I am not an expert or an instructor. I’m just a dude trying to promote additional focused training and game development outside of the academy.
What This Is Not:
Leave Your Current Academy? Definitely not. This isn’t about pulling you away from your current setup; it’s about supplementing your growth.
Pay to Train? Absolutely not. Absolutely not. There are no fees here. This is a grassroots effort aimed at mutual improvement.
Expertise Required? Not at all. Everyone is welcome, from white belt to black belt. More than skill, I value cool, injury-conscious partners who are eager to learn and share.
Why Look for Training Partners?
I believe the best learning environment is one where you train the way that fits your learning style. Personally, I know I learn best when I train the way I want to, really focus on structured deep learning, and not fight to the death everyday.
Plus, be honest… you probably have a bunch of BJJ Fanatics videos gathering digital dust. Now's your chance to practice all that knowledge you paid for!

Location Matters:
I'm in the Prosper/Frisco/Little Elm area. Accordingly, Fort Worth is a rough commute.
But if I am too far away from you, don’t worry! I’ll try to match you with someone closer if possible.
About Me:

It's up to you, really. But the way I usually run things is we each come with something you want to work on. Each person gets the focus on what they want. The training partner is there to adjust to how you want to train.
You want to train side control escapes, the Danaher way? Cool. I'll give you whatever resistance or reps you want.
Want to practice float passing a-la-Gordon? Right on. You tell me the responses, I'll execute until we figure it out.
